Parent Group

In partnership with parents

Xavier Catholic College encourages a strong and integrated relationship between students, parents and staff.  The partnership between the family and the school is a great tradition in Catholic education.  The success of a student reaching their potential is a unique combination of the high standards expected from each student at the College and the support and encouragement from home.

Parent Group

Meetings are very informal and don’t involve any commitment from parents. That’s right – no fundraising, nor will you be asked to be Treasurer or President or Publicity Officer. The Principal, Michael Vella, and Assistant Principal, Yvonne Head, attend each meeting and give an outline of things happening at the College. Department head teachers also make regular appearances to present information about new initiatives for professional development and programs for teaching and learning. It’s a great way to learn more about what is happening at the school.

If you are a new parent to the school the Parent Group is a great way to meet other parents.

The meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm.
